I wish I could make what I make on Mturk at a real job

For me, I just graduated college and the expectation is that I start off with 30k and move my way up to 50k or more.
I made $3000 last month and I could potentially increase my earnings more and more but I'd get taxed out the ass under self employed.
I don't think there is too much hope for most people to make 60k or more using mturk.
I love working at mturk but Idk.

You can write off a lot on your taxes if self employed. Phone, internet, room in your house/apartment, equipment... a lot.

It's not that simple. Most turkers are not eligible to legitimately deduct most of that stuff.

My aunt's a CPA so she always does my taxes because she's always up to date on all the new shit. I don't know that I would attempt it myself. But, for her it is that simple.

But when you make like 35k or so in self employed, don't you have to pay like 40%
Thats a huge chunk.
