Got a nice queue full of 5 centers with a 1 hour timer.....just in time for the internet to go out. Look out front and see some worker fiddling with my internet wires on the pole. I ask him "How long do you figure the internet will be out" "Oh, about another 10 minutes" I think cool, plenty of time. It comes back on finally, and i'm able to return the last one of the 25 with 5 seconds left, the rest expired. So much for 10 minutes x.x rawr

Sorry there was a problem it. I appreciate the time you did spend on this.

We'd actually very much prefer to pay you (the full $6 for the study), considering that not only did you spend your own personal time, but also it was apparently a technical issue
on our end that ended your run early and you even checked in on the problem screens when I asked you to, which is unambiguously doing work and especially useful work at that since it'd be very hard find and deal problems in the code if the users who experience them.

And besides that, as a matter of both ethics and company policy, if it all possible we always pay workers who give us honest time and effort, so you'd actually be saving me a little bit of time if you let me know your MTurk ID so I can pay you via bonus, otherwise I'll have to go into the data and figure out your ID from the email
