I'm not really picky either. Can't say I ever read a romance novel! It just has to grab me within the first 10 or so pages otherwise I won't read it.

yea, that's a little short. usually I give them a couple chapters, but if it's like a russian novel with 50 billion names I'm done

Did you ever read The Clan of the Cave Bear series? Fantastic books. The 1980s movie sucked though.

No I haven't, I'll look into that too. I like me a good series of books that I can blast through instead of trying to find single books to read.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'll probably read those in a week. Only took me a month to blast through a 9 book mystery/crime series.

I HIGHLY recommend "How Good People are Divided by Politics and Religion" by Jonathan Haidt [pronounced "hite"]. Absolutely fascinating. In fact, it covers such a breadth of topics and issues, I think it should be required reading for college students. It makes so much stuff much clearer and understandable.

So, RIGHT AFTER I posted this, I got a HIT that wanted me to tell it what my favorite BOOK was!

I think there are 6 of them. I tend not to reread books, but I have read that series 2 times.

Check your local/county Library. I borrow books via the Overdrive app from the library all the time.
