Totally could be. I mostly ignored all the fangirl/boys at the time. Same with Soms of Anarchy. I have my issues with that show (mainly a person or 2 I'd consider was not the greatest of actors) but it was solid. Kurt Sutter is twisted AF.

I usually avoid getting sucked into new shows and I thought BB was gonna be overhyped. Then a friend started bingeing (whose opinion I totally respect because we like almost all the same things) told me I had to watch and I was hooked from EP 1. Bryan Cranston is the shit.

I'm with you. I watched the first episode once before and just didn't engage with it, but for some reason the second time around was the charm.

I misunderstood you, I thought you were saying he didn't like it because it was popular. Back in the early days of television there was a show called Miami Vice. The first season was awesome and it seemed as if very few people knew about it. the second season i didn't like it any more. I still believe it was because the show wasn't as good, not because it was now a media sensation and everyone was watching it and talking about how great it was and walking around with a 3-day beard every day.

Ah, yeah. Breaking Bad is actually one of his favorite shows so he had extremely high expectations for the finale. Hard to live up to that.
