Yeah, requesters now have the option of completely hiding their HITs from people that don't qual. They won't even show up in search results.
but if they don't plan on granting the qual anymore, and I don't have it...why does it matter to me? Not trying to be rude, just confused :)

wait now I can't monitor my hits so I can post them ;-;

(I wanted to test it, I wouldn't leave it that way, someone tell me if my hits show up.)

but if they don't plan on granting the qual anymore, and I don't have it...why does it matter to me? Not trying to be rude, just confused :)
if they put an autorequest qual on? If they check the box on accident, monitoring things just to monitor them, idk. Things and reason :O

It's already upon us. We just don't see it happening. :wink:

What use is that? Who cares if your HITs are visible? Just one more thing to distract from the fact that Masters is default.

Sorry. Venting over. No need to respond. :)

okay, so hiding my hits apparently took the quals off of it instead of just hiding it >.> that was weird.

If they don't plan on granting the qual anymore, it wouldn't matter to you.

But if a requester chooses "hidden", you won't be able to see their HITs in the list, so you won't have the opportunity to email and ask if there is a qual test or test HITs or if they're open to new workers.

It's still nice to see what's out there, whether you qual or not. If you see something that looks good, you could try emailing the requester to see if they ever plan on assigning more quals. I've received a lot of quals this way. It could also throw off logged out HIT monitors and scrapers and things because they'll no longer see everything.
