damn, I'm so sorry about your parents.Ha. No I've missed a few months. My Mom died in October and my Dad has Alzheimers so that's mostly what I've been doing. :grimacing:

Thanks for the heads up. It's actually been a good time to learn and get all my browser tools set up. I've been knocking out some of the simple high hit tasks, so hopefully when things pick up again I'll be ready. There haven't been much work for the past week.
Right: my Dad was stationed up there with the Army. If you're a fish lover, try Fisherman's market (protect your wallet, tho). If you have the time, I suggest driving over to the Olympic National Park. It's a rain forest, and is lovely.I'll admit I thought of you when mentioning that because I recall you bringing up Seattle before
I've yet to be there before, is there anything you would suggest seeing? I'll be there for a week.
I did! Haven't even been here a year yet. But travel was part of the job description so I cant complain too much. As I've gotten older I've had the urge to check out the world anyway, before that I was content just sitting around playing games all day. So it all works out oh, and it's nice to see you back here. You did leave for a bit, right? So I didnt just forget your existence?
Oh! so sorry. That's rough. My heart goes to you.Ha. No I've missed a few months. My Mom died in October and my Dad has Alzheimers so that's mostly what I've been doing. :grimacing:
Fort Lewis? If so, that's a beautiful area!Right: my Dad was stationed up there with the Army. If you're a fish lover, try Fisherman's market (protect your wallet, tho). If you have the time, I suggest driving over to the Olympic National Park. It's a rain forest, and is lovely.
Another slow day today? There haven't been much work for the past week.
Ft. Lawton, but you're right about the Lewis area being beautiful. So clean (especially after a rain).Fort Lewis? If so, that's a beautiful area!
I grew up in the Seattle-ish area, but I'll admit I'm not familiar with Ft. Lawton. Google is telling me that's where Discovery Park is now, which is also a great area!Ft. Lawton, but you're right about the Lewis area being beautiful. So clean (especially after a rain).
PE $9.01, so I guess so.Another slow day today?
I had hoped we were back to being good when Wednesday wasn't too bad, but its seemed to be downhill since.PE $9.01, so I guess so.
It was converted to the park. The officer's quarters alone were worth the price of admission. Also lived in Ballard before moving to the Fort.I grew up in the Seattle-ish area, but I'll admit I'm not familiar with Ft. Lawton.
