good lord, concerts: first one that wasn't some local band playing somewhere in my neighborhood was Tripping Daisy playing a free show at TCU (they were from Ft Worth) back in 1993. Outside of that, Toad the Wet Sprocket and the Cranberries back in 1995 in Dallas was the first really big concert I'd been to. Seen too may concerts now. love live music.

Okay, that makes much more sense, lol.

But at least you can say you saw Elvis in concert! I wish I had. I can clearly remember what I was doing when I heard he died. Brother and I were sitting cross legged on the floor watching tv (console tele). Eating something. And the news broke into whatever it was we were watching. It was a weekday and we were on summer break and we heard it announced. We both started crying like he was someone we knew. We must have had a baby sitter or something but I remember crying at my mom over his death.
