So far today, I had two surveys that had no HIT completion codes at the end. Only a message to the effect of "We thank you for your time spent taking this survey. Your response has been recorded."
Anyone else run into this issue? I have to return these HITs, because I can't enter a code in the required box, and it is very frustrating. I've reported them both, but will that do any good? Will I get paid?

you can submit with your turk id. works 99% of the time.
take a screenshot of the last page to send to request just in case.
reporting them wont do anything, and no you wont get paid if you dont submit anything

This happens a lot. I usually write that there was no code in the box for the code. I also save a screen shot (yes, like she said, of the last page of the survey). I don't return the hit though. I submit and sometimes write the requester. I've never been rejected doing this.

@IndividualRace Looks like they were qual'd. Guess I got it from the first batch. Looks like there were some up Wednesday that were for people that didn't have the qual. Sweet.

This only works when you have to input your worker ID into the survey itself, which like you said, is probably like 99% of the time. But if the survey didn't ask for ID, and the ID wasn't part of the survey link, then they'll have no way to connect your work to you if you sub with ID instead of code.

true, but most people have never got a rejection from doing this, even if turk id wasn't asked for.

People have, but it's extremely rare. I'm not disagreeing with you that it works most of the time. I just like to clarify why it works and why it sometimes doesn't.
