Hello, has anyone got tips for turkers not in the US? I'm turking for a almost 10 days now and I "only" got around 30$ so far. I'm on my way to 1000 approved HITs but I would really like to do something else than transcribe business cards or just copy&paste info.

I would ask this question in the help section, so that it can get the attention it deserves. It will just get lost in this daily HITs thread. Just a suggestion. But, welcome. I'm in the US so, I can't help very much.

It's also a struggle for US workers before they reach 1000.

Maybe try Prolific? They're based out of the UK. They might have more surveys available to non US workers. I'm not sure though.

I invited you to a conversation.(PM) It's long but I walked someone through MTS(HitFinder, HitCatcher, HitTracker) and how to get started. It's my "down and dirty" method of getting turking in an hour but, it's almost all that I use to make up to $100ish a day. Maybe it will help. It's a dead conversation though so, if you have questions, start a new PM with me as I'm not checking that one and wouldn't respond in it. It's a year old.

I wouldn't mind and invite too! It's nice to have a refresher

Well, I know 1000 approved HITs is the first magical number for new turkers, but as I was looking through HITs I'm not qualified for, it seemed like almost all HITs that require 1000 approved HITs also require either some closed qual or location in the US. So I'm not sure the 1000 HITs would help me that much.
And I'm already on prolific. It's okay but I guess my profile doesn't match a lot of studies.
I'll just continue to transcript business cards and hope for the best.
