Thank you. That means a lot. My HITs seem to know I'm down. I'm constantly being asked about my self-esteem and value. I'm thinking, "Damn, mturk. Have you been going through my emails and my Twitter feed?!"
Ha yes. I think almost all us on this forum have felt down it seems. I went to counseling last year and got back on 'happy' medicine and I'm in a much better place.
still get those crappy moments but I'm handling them much better.

Thanks for the advice. I definitely need to earn enough to buy a used car, so I can IRONICALLY get back on my feet, and be able to see my daughter any time I want. I'm taking all of this solid advice and attempting to follow the patterns of all the high earners in here. I want to go back to school and get a job that'll allow me to buy my daughter whatever she wants and needs. But just like she did, I have to crawl before I walk. I've been on my knees, for what seems like an eternity to me.
Personally, I don't remember wanting anything before the age of 6. And even then it was just toys, candies, and snacks.

Can't you just take the bus to see her?

I had to return that one, i got the "Header or cookie too large" error. On the bright side i learnt a shortcut for deleting cookies on chrome. Control, shift, delete.
Why did you return it then? It only takes a few seconds to delete cookies, and the HIT had a 60 minute timer.

Ironically saving for a used car is why i started turking as well. I started about 6 months ago on mturk and about 2 months ago i bought a 2005 Chevy Silverado with 80k miles. There is people that put me to shame on earnings on here, but that all comes in time and with quals that we don't have yet.

It would have to be a Greyhound. She lives 50 miles away, and daddy doesn't have Greyhound money. Hell, what money I do get weekly comes from my veins (plasma), and that goes straight to child support.

Can you not get child support changed? Or do you already have a deal worked out for so much a month?

Seriously? I would be over the moon to be getting $500.00 weeks. I've just sort of drifted aimlessly through life, not really having a passion about anything. Money itself just seems like such a silly concept to me. Now I have my daughter, and I have to get serious about this whole "adulting" thing. For her, I do.

A 2005 Chevy Silverado with only 80k miles? That was an epic find!

Buy her a book and get yourself a copy. Meet up with her online - at scheduled times (don't break the schedule!) and read the book! Just a few pages a day. Or a chapter.

Honestly, consistency is the key. Get her an email account and email her something fun (a pretty picture, whatever) EVERY day.

Even from a distance, you can be a constant source of support. Really:heart:

I could have had it reduced. But I live with and take care of my mom. Right now, I get SNAP benefits, so I don't have any expenses. I kept it at what the judge set it for, because the money would be going to her, regardless. Plus, when I get in a position to get joint custody, it'll look a lot better in the eyes of the court that I've actually been paying child support. You know, cuz it's all about the money, in their eyes. Love, be damned.

Is the child support mandatory by court, or are you paying them because you want to?
