If you get your sash/hood whatever without walking then that's cool, but if you have to walk for it I'd do it. I did my AA, BFA, and MFA and got all 3 sash/hood dealies (sashes for AA/BFA hood for MFA) so I get to look fancy if I ever go back to teaching and attend graduations. Also it's neat to put the hood on sometimes. I walked with my program ( we had speeches, fancy party with wine, swam in the school fountains etc) and not with my school b/c there were about 8 bajillion students and zero bottles of wine at that shindig.

I'm going to put mine in frames eventually, but I was supposed to stick to higher ed and would be wearing them annually. Now they're dusty lol and the MFA one is half velvet, dusty velvet is DISGUSTING.
