Completely off topic... but theres been a lot of interesting studies lately about cats purring. It seems there all kinds of interesting things going on the body when they are purring, and that it may be linked to a sort of specialized immune/healing sort of system they have developed. In fact... NASA has been studying low frequency vibration on astronauts as a way to help deal with extended periods of weightlessness... inspired and strongly linked to the bodily effects purring has on cats.
