Celebrity/musician deaths don't usually get to me, but this one absolutely did. RIP Mark Hollis of Talk Talk.
Talk Talk is not just a band with some super catchy 80s pop hits. Their later work was enormously influential. Even though Mark Hollis was long retired from the music biz, his passing is a shattering loss. If you consider yourself a music fan, you owe it to your ears to seek out groundbreaking albums like Spirit of Eden and really every record Hollis was ever involved with.
