When you need all 4 tires and rotors it's not cheap....they haven't been done in 5 years and honestly I'm not doing it myself.

My BMW needs rear breaks and it'll be basically that same price for just the rear.

Ah didn't catch the needing tires too part, all I saw earlier was pads and rotors.

It's been a good while since I've had them done, you mentioned Kia so I went and looked up mine. Saw pairs ranging from 60-120ish on the rotor end. I'll probably have to check mine here soon, got the car up to 35k miles last week.

Mine has 130....but yea if you need 4 rotors and pads and labor it's a several hundred dollars.

My 2001 corolla has 170k on it. It needs new shocks/struts but not willing to pay $1200 or a car that is worth less than that.

Me too. Two crappy days in a row and I'm down in the dumps. Seems like everything I catch I have to throw back. Which is irritating because I wasted time trying to catch it when I could have been trying to catch a good one. I'm tired of the "you've already done this" nonsense when I know full well I haven't.
