I also did it several years back. Got over $100. But mine took a few months. I had to send documents back and forth to prove it was me. It also varies from state to state of what the requirements are.

Oh okay it says I have under 100 from amazon due to a refund on the treasury site, it says I have to contact them not submit anything to the state for it, pretty interesting!

Interesting question...does anyone here think that social media causes depression? This was a conversation I had last night and was wondering some thoughts on that.

social media is usually just a person’s “highlight reel”. people usually only post the good moments or good angles (if they post selfies) so some people may feel sad that their own real life isn’t like that. But just because a person seems to have it all together on social media doesn’t mean they have it all together in real life. Could mean just the opposite. sometimes social media is just a facade. and honestly it should be treated as such

Sleep Apnea sucks. Mine comes with Sleep Paralysis, which comes with super-cool and not at all terrifying hallucinations.

I don't have apnea, thank goodness! But I do have a myriad of other lovely parasomnias. Since putting a sleep mask on, I seem to no longer wake up and hallucinate things in the room which is lovely. Wish I'd done it years ago. Husband sleeps, I sleep, everyone sleeps!

Did anyone else take that Youth Risk Behavior Survey from the CDC - was it last year? They were piloting an online version (you didn't have to answer the questions - just 'christmas tree' the survey so that they knew it 'worked'.

I have told my daughters school she does not need to take it (it was SO explicit. Not just have you done this - but have you done THIS, THIS, THIS - how often, with whom).

Anyway, I'm in the slack channel if you want to just let me know....would YOU let a teenager that you loved sit there and disclose all of that??

I didn't tell anyone about the hallucinations for awhile. I knew that they weren't real after the fact, but it's still hard to talk about the 8 ft tall cloaked smoke-demon that had to stoop to fit through the doorframe, without feeling like a complete lunatic.
