it would be awesome if they made experiment points equal to cents so or at a minimum 10 base so that there isn't crazy math involved to figure out what a score means.

I'm also mean. My kids got cell phones at 13, but have to earn their phone time. They don't get access to it whenever; it stays in my room, and they can have it for a few hours a day on the weekends when chores are done, and two weekday evenings after homework is done. That's it. It's a privilege and when they get in trouble- that's the first thing they lose. Electronics time. Oh fucking well.

That's sort of what we do in our house. My kids have phones they take with them when they aren't at home because they do a ton of after-school activities and I want to be able to get in touch with them, but when they are home all of the cell phones and video games and their electronics stay in the living room where we all sit together. If they want to use any devices they have to do it in the living room and can't hide in their rooms. The computer they use faces out into the room, so I can see what they are seeing any time they are on there. It actually works out great and we end up spending a lot more time together that way.

I'm considering the whole VPN thing and I'm wondering if anyone here uses one and how it affects mturk? Wouldn't you be able to turn it off for those specific requesters that demand it?

They reject instantly. The ones that didn't reject you should be fine on.

Edit: He gives you a link in the rejection to see what you did incorrectly and how it should be.

Still working on getting paid for my 55 minutes of work on one of those ad writing HITs from Stanford HCI from March 5th. So it's irritating to see them posting all day today.
