Are you counting prolific too?

Oh about the qual, we are probably not going to be putting up more quals for these batches as we want to get them done as soon as possible (and we have quite a few people qualified already). But there's a possibility we'll open up another qual mid-May, and more likely in the fall.

What if you have a kid who when you try to have this conversation just gets pissed off and acts like you;re being an asshole for even bringing it up and then refuses to do anything to help?

My guess is he feels embarrassed and like you are picking on him a so he gets defensive. It is often tough to get through to them when they are teenagers. I had a son the same way, I wouldn't even let him in my car unless I febrezed him, not only his clothes but even his armpits. So I really have no good suggestions for you on that point.
