They definitely do seem to be losing business with the way work has been drying up lately. I don't know how adding stuff like goal bars is supposed to help with that though.

If they want to drive business up across the board, they should bring in Edward Furlong as a fulltime celebrity Turker. he could probably use the help

I guess in my mind my parents - know everything, sane, sober, no self-doubts although I’m certain that wasn’t true and they were fake adults too. You know, adults are people who don’t have an inner child!

Even a bad story has some promise with good writing.

Market hype may make for good sales, but bad writing is still bad writing. I've picked up best sellers where I couldn't make it beyond the opening paragraphs.

Exactly. And then there's that one book whose opening page is so outstanding that it grabs you right down to the bones and it is remembered for years. Movies are the same way. Think of that scene that shakes you so that it can't be gotten out of your head. The image is perfect. Just right. Says it all. This is what takes an artist to do....and why AIs can't cut it.

Kada embarrassed them with his fancy work add ons. They have to keep up with the neighbors.

I talked to a project manager for MTurk about a month or so ago. She seemed pretty interested in trying to improve stuff like the worker interface. I didn't talk to her about a goals bar, though.

The general perception seems to be that the market has gone downhill, so they might be losing workers. It's not a simple thing to fix, but it would sure be nice now that I'm here.

I find it funny that so many of these surveys say you can’t take them on mobile devices, especially the ones about advanced technology!
