I agree with this but the stress of trying to make money without a 'regular' job can make you insane as well, always worried about making the bills etc.

To be honest, though I don't know what major you're taking, any job you could get with a degree would be a lot better than working MTurk, both to your wallet and to your sanity. The quicker you finish the better, and you can always work MTurk for beer money if you need some. That's how I feel anyway.

Oh don't get me wrong, definitely going to finish. It's just I've had to use my brain harder, for longer at a time, over the last three quarters of school than I have in the last ten years before that (hi, I'm old.) Was kind of looking forward to an easy summer of making mindless money, but if there isn't any then maybe it's time to suck it up and push through a couple more classes a;dslfj;sldjfdsl;fd.

The point that PJ made about the stress of trying to pay the bills freelancing is kind of a thing, but...oh my god, is what you say here also a thing. The idea of having to talk to people and have a boss after so many years of not, kind of makes me want to vomit, but, well...not being homeless is good. You kind of have to figure out what the lesser evil is and as;ldkjfdsk;lfd see above where I am functionally braindead rn.

Some people make the most of it, but what you're describing happens only because they give out masters to people with less than 100 hits done, people who have had there account taken away or people who don't turk but maybe an hour a night after work.
