I figure I just messed some up. I'm okay with taking some rejections if that's the case.

Yeah, as I went on my wrist really started to hurt, so I don't think I was using the zoom as much as I should have been. I wouldn't be surprised if that led to some mistakes.

@Peachy actually can contribute to both sides of this discussion, the man came back from the depths to earn that Masters again after it got ripped from his grasp.

But how do you know for sure if its being auto graded with no feedback? I tried to email this person while working on them and never got a response.
There was one 1 example and no real directions. I'm one of those people I have to know what I did wrong, or I can't be bothered to do their hits again. Can't correct a mistake if I don't know whats wrong and Im not risking my Masters for someone who can't bother to communicate.

It also doesn't help that they just don't give proper instructions. They give examples of what they want and then it's super simple to see that "oh, this isn't too tough." and then you start doing the task and there's stuff that is very nebulous and you're not sure if they want it done that way.

i guess it's just like real math. spend time studying and get to the test and it's nothing like the practice

Oh wow, on reddit they made it seem like they stopped giving them out back in 2015. I thought I just got mine earlier this year but I actually had it since 2015.

I don't know how they're grading them. But out of the thousand or so that I did I received only 20ish rejections. That's just not really enough for me to question their methods. I know I was rushing through a lot of them. And if they posted again, I would still do them (though, I would probably go a little slower.)

There was a period of maybe a year and a halfish where they didn't give it out. Then in May 2017 (I think?) they gave it out to like 900+ people in a single day. I haven't seen any other big handouts like that since then, but I think they've been pretty consistently giving it to small handfuls of people here and there.

If everyone is getting some rejections, I wouldn't worry about losing masters over it.

I did like over 800 prolly around 850.. Still have about 600 left to be graded sitting at 4 rejections.. Has to be auto graded as so many are being graded pretty fast (was over 35k when posted) I took my time but the directions were so questionable. I would feel better if more people reviewed. If we dont hold the requesters to a standard then we are basically letting them use us however. There really needs to be better directions and more examples on something like this. Just so we are clear I leave lots of positive feedback too.. because I would like them to keep up what they are doing. I do have requesters emailing me from time to time telling me TY for the feedback and they will look into it.

Requesters, as a whole, should reject more often than they do, then there would be less people scamming HITs = better reputation for mturk = more work = more $_$
