Hey everyone! I'm new to Turking and have a question. I signed up on May 4th 2019, did my 10 day stint (no fund request+HIT limits). Since then my account has been active but I haven't, until this past weekend. For the past few days I've been focusing on increasing my numbers to 500. However I am still being capped. Yesterday I did 112 HITs and when attempting to continue the batch, was told that I couldn't do any more HITs for the day. Today I did 92 HITs and received the same message. Does anyone have ANY idea what the issue could be? Based off of everything I read, you're only limited in HITs at the very beginning of your account activating.

Have you actually submitted HITs on at least ten different days? That can kinda throw people off sometimes because the probation goes by how many days you've actually worked, not how many days old the account it. Also, I've seen some report not having their caps lifted until day 11 or 12, so it seems like there could be a bit of lag sometimes. If none of this applies to you and you're well beyond 10-12 of actually submitting HITs, I would probably send a message to MTurk from the contact form on the site.

Ooohh that makes perfect sense now. I haven't been doing HITs on 10 different days, so it's possible that this is the reason. I'll test it out for the total of 10 days and if nothing changes after then, I'll email them. Thanks for your prompt response. I didn't expect to hear back from someone so quickly. I appreciate it!

Yeah, I think you just have to submit at least one HIT on ten different days. And you're welcome. :)

Good luck!
