The unexpected bonuses are the best. I don't even recall a bonus being offered.

Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk,

The value of your bonus is: $3.00 USD

$5.00 SCN Lab survey is broken 20 minutes into it.

(edit) I waited a few minutes and refreshed, then the video playback worked fine. That HIT takes longer than stated.

I'm back, y'all! I took about 2 years off to procreate and now I'm back to pay for diapers (and an upgrade to a fullframe DSLR...)! I forget what add ons I was using before, what's everybody using for browser plugins these days? TO? is that still a thing? I think there was another one, too... I'm about to hit 10k as soon as these yes or no's and text cats go through. I've put almost 1k on in the last week, testing the waters to see if I wanted to come back for reals. Turns out, I can do batches while my kids run around and pause to kiss booboos and refill juice cups occasionally. Hopefully 10k gets me some great closed quals..

oops, i meant

The poll reminded me of my friend who took his expiring yogurt with him when he bought a house
Dang... this really leaves me with so many unanswered questions!... Like, why did your friend do this? How close to the expiration date was the yogurt? Was it the kind with fruit at the bottom that needs to be stirred first? How many bedrooms/bathrooms did the house have?

Expiration dates are really more of suggestions anyway.
Tanginess is good in yogurt.

I think it was actually like 2 months expired at that point. He said it was part of the family lol

I think it was a 3 bed 1.5 bath?

Seriously I could double my PE with a crappy batch of A9s.

I mean, not the *really* crappy A9s, the normal crappy 1-choice ones.

P.S. If anyone still has both of the Cocosci Labs HITs from earlier, yes you can do both of them, I checked. The description would lead you to believe otherwise but they confirmed it's cool to do both.

Just in case you were letting them simmer. Long timers.

lol, my expectations were never that high. I did p9rs for like 2 months before I learned how to not do them. haha I like batches and I'm good for 0.01ers. Surveys are fun, until you get 2 min into one and get a disqual and realize you could have done 150 pennies in that wasted time. I do them when I get bored with batches.

Hello!
This is a notification to let you know that a study you recently participated in (Sleep, Mental Health, and Cognition) has a second wave that you are invited to complete. The second wave of this study is similar to the first wave. You will be asked to complete three brief cognitive tasks and complete a survey. This will take approximately one hour to complete. After successful completion of the cognitive tasks and the survey, you would receive $0.50 compensation in your Amazon Mechanical Turk account and will be entered to win on of the $15 bonuses. If you are interested in participating in this second wave, please search Sleep, Mental Health, and Cognition in MTurk.
Have a nice day!

There was no death of family or friend, and no one contracted cancer or the like, but the worst four weeks of my life began thirty days ago with the computer error code, "CPU fan has failed." (That put me out of work till just now.)

On the same day, my cell phone crapped out on me.

Soon after that I suffered a mini-stroke (a TIA: Transient Ischemic Attack ). That was ... scary. I woke up at five in the morning and had no control over my left arm or hand. I decided the best thing to do was get some more sleep and see if things got better upon waking, so I slept for five more hours. Woke up and my arm and hand were better, but I still called 911, the result of which was a two-and-a-half-day stay at Eisenhower hospital: the food was ... fair. (But I give kudos to their kitchen, who would call me and ask for my food preferences.) But it was nice watcing some TV (which I do not have here at home): six-hundred- pound people?!?!

Then, shortly after arriving home, my left hip went bad: very painful; sometimes excruciating And I have trouble walking.

All in all, a suck-ass month.

:) Good to be back!

Thank you for your share, and honesty. We do this work here, and there's lives going on behind the screen. My computer tanked this week, and I've been numb trying to figure out how to get through this... I can't imagine walking through all of that at once. That sounds difficult.

You are not alone. I appreciate you being here.

Anyone do the Yes or No batch? I worked on them but then I freaked out and quit because I probably did one or two wrong. We'll see...
