There was nothing wrong with the actual survey. It was just missing a code, which is not all that unusual these days. TO indicates that this has happened before with this requester.

Idk your situation and don't want to pry, but as someone who married someone with poor (inherited) money management, have you considered just opening up a different checking/saving account at, like, ally or something? there are no fees and I think atm fees are reimbursed. The saving gets decent interest as well.

I had to go over finances with my now wife for probably 5-6 years before she started to learn. I don't know if I would have stayed with her if she never improved. Obviously I handle all the money and budgeting now and we have joints accounts and I have separate accounts.

My husband grew up in a terrible and horrific life. He never had a soul to teach him money management, or anything good for that matter. His kindness and good heart, as well as all his other wonderful qualities, I'll never understand how he got them all growing up the way he did. His poor money judgement has gotten better over the years, but we still have a long way to go.
That being said, opening up another account would be fine, as long as I can transfer money from mine to his account for free. And without all the crazy fees. ?
