Have you watched Making It? Going through season 2 of that now and it's fun to see Amy and Nick being themselves (pretty obvious they barely had to act in character at all in Parks and Rec).

i was watching some cnbc programming today, found out they may be banned from some running competitions and wondered if you had a pair and how you felt wearing them if you had any.

supposedly runs $250 per pair so you may need a few hundy in choice lab bonuses to come in.

that was interesting about the shoes. I am obviously no marathoner, but i hate overly padded shoes -- obviously I'm losing energy when I run, but I started running when barefoot/minimalism was big, and that's my comfort zone.

do you like nike construction? while i don't run, i wear new balance running shoes and it is time to get a new pair. i've read some horror stories of the poor quality of new balance shoes since moving their production from massachusetts to asia so i'm thinking about getting nike shoes if they are good quality and don't have frequent upper separation from the soles like the asia NB shoes seem to be having.

I'm not sure about long term. I've never had a pair separate - I'm on my 4th pair now. But, when you run, you're supposed to change them out regularly. I will say the pair I just retired to yard shoes, the sole is worn down but no separation.

I got these. haven't run in them yet, but I have a 3mile run planned for tomorrow. I'm really excited about the lack of traditional laces. I try to live my life laceless lol
