Prolific itself doesn't say anything, but the chrome extension will. It's honestly the only reason I remember to check prolific

I was using an online timer set to 3 minutes, and each time it beeped at the end of three minutes, I'd glance down at my taskbar (where I had P loaded) to see if any HIT was posted. If so, I worked it; if not, back to mturk.

Yeah I'm doing them now. VERY worth it to read the instructions and make sure you're doing it right because the pay is excellent

On the vcr2 event one, I'm averaging something like $30/hour not including the bonuses
Best advice I have is get creative but be thorough. Reread the directions as needed.
And DO THE OPTIONAL BONUS!
You already took time to familiarize yourself with the people and image so may as well get an extra 40 cents out of it.
