I'm not expecting any of this to go smoothly.

i expect some direct payments will take longer. my sis used the non-filer portal the day it went live and she's yet to see her payment. she and you may be waiting for info (or return for you) validation before the treasury sends your payment.

i have decided to wait a week or two when printed checks go out in early may to see if i can get the cool collectible check before i deposit it and keep the physical check. if it doesn't come by mid-may, use the portal to get a direct deposit.

Filed with Freetax and did not get my money either. Giving me "Payment Status Not Available. According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time." I'd figure they have the DD info since they deposited the tax refund money into my account. Dunno what the hold up is and that message is pretty vague tbh. They have been telling us do not go to the hospital, call first and ask what to do, whether be seen at a clinic or to a testing site.

i'd strongly recommend calling your state hotline rather than head to ER right away. if the hotline is like here, they will ask you symptom and screener questions and if appropriate, register you to be tested and tell you where to go to get your test. if the worst happened and you have covid, you could be spreading it to many people if you simply show up at an ER out of the blue.

I always file through turbotax or H&R block and I have received my stimulus money.

I have read in many articles that it will takes weeks for everyone to receive their money.

This is ironic, still happy and grateful for the money, but I won't be doing any more of these as I received 14 rejections out of 300 and no response to my email about why. It doesn't really affect my rating, since I've done so many, but it's still kind of scary.
