Well said. Just hard to change penny pinching ways to investing ways when it would require ALL of your money. I am keeping an eye on the lot though, the whole estate sale actually. This is the same company we got most of my husbands lathes and scroll saws from, they usually deal with more commercial estates which is why I think this one isn't being bid on more.

If it's an estate sale - look for vintage household stuff. Shampoo, meds, etc. Anything 80's or older can often bring good money - folks buy it for collections or props. Diapers are the HUGE money maker especially in larger sizes. Usually gets overlooked & not even listed.

Oh yea. Straight selling, live auctions, even raffles for things that are way out of your price range.

Just make sure to use the good and services option when paying on Paypal instead of "sending to a friend" so you have coverage in case someone tries to screw you. Paypal always has the buyers back.
