I want to report a requester who apparently thinks they are entitled to free work, based on the fact that I submitted a HIT I completed with an explanation of the fact there was no code provided, and they still rejected the HIT.

I'm sorry to say, you can report - but they do not appear to care. They think of you as an independent contractor and your relationship is negotiated with the requester. VERY rarely (and by that I mean once) have I ever seen amazon get involved and even then it was because it was thousands of hits from one requester (and, I assume, cost them money - too). But a single problem?

If it is an academic requester, you can email their IRB - and that will help. (no one wants to have to deal with the IRB - and they will get on the prof. or student to fix the situation)

just one more quick point. if you email them nicely - chances are they'll fix this. it's usually a mistake. I've NEVER been rejected for this (well, a few times reversed. someone emails and they fix it). Remember, this could be their first time setting up a survey. It's not always that easy
