crossing fingers. i did that space mining game but wasn't able to start it until a bit after it got panda'd. mturk timer expired before i finished the game. i've got an email out to the requester. hopefully they respond. i'd like my $8.00 for completing the whole thing. i'll be on later. gonna go try not to die running for the first time since april last year.

i returned one yesterday that couldn't be changed according to its requirements so i did what the rules state about that type of situation and still it wouldn't let me submit. i emailed but haven't received a response yet. probably won't. there used to be a time when that group would actually respond to questions or concerns.

the hit portion. the screener part was pretty easy. i got through the screener on this one without any problem. the screener from the higher paying version of those hits last week was more difficult.

Re: the Noah rewrite sentence hits: they're not broken. They're timed. Once you get past the "screener" on to the main task, right or wrong you're going to get the pop-up message telling you to check your work. Give it a minute, literally, and submit again.
update: wait until the 2 minute mark to submit even the first time. it went right through for me w/o the pop up. Seems they might have had a bunch that were submitted far too quickly last week.
update again: actual timer seems to be 50 seconds from the moment you paste the text or finish typing the text, basically 50 seconds from the time something is in the text box.

In the dumbest question I may ever ask on this board. And I know there are other places with this question but they are a total pain to actually find. Masters Qual, is it still possible to get it? Totally random I know, but is there anything I should try to do? 5 months 19,000+ hits and 22 rejects (somehow CR2 though $&%@!)

Hasn't been handed out since 2019 IIRC.

What is a Mechanical Turk Master Worker?
A Master Worker is a top Worker of the MTurk marketplace that has been granted the Mechanical Turk Masters Qualification. These Workers have consistently demonstrated a high degree of success in performing a wide range of HITs across a large number of Requesters. it's a mix of quantity, variety, luck and whenever Amazon decides to give more Masters out. I have over 120,000 approved hits with a 99.91% approval rating, have been on mturk for more than 5 years and still no Masters. Others got Masters with fewer hits, still others have thousands more than I do and still no Masters. I almost don't want it because they can take it away too and I'd hate to have tasted glory and then lose it.

i had almost 800k before i got it but thats was like 15/16 when there was alot more batch work. at the time most people got it at like 100k. lord know how they chose people anymore but i haven't seen any new masters in a long time
