I've always used either the PayPal desktop site or the mobile site using Chrome browser on my phone/tablet to transfer. There's probably a way on the PayPal app, but it's so counter-intuitive to convert pounds to dollars and then transfer dollars to my bank that I just use the desktop/mobile site.
