well, good news/bad news
the ipad fix was easy - and done.
but he had to take it apart and reglue it together (100.00).
I've mentioned to Sniper the cat that he could help out around the house to help offset the cost.

But he's currently sprawled out on the dog bed (dog on floor). So, I'm not optimistic.

@jan the first recipe I used said not to boil but to high simmer for seven minutes. everything i read after that failure said "BoiL" for ten minutes regardless. I did that and it worked. they are all sealed.

cats like to play at night. if they find a mouse, it will be during the night. in the meantime you might find some dead spiders and other bugs that they don't eat around. once one kitty got ambitious. i guess she wanted a kitten. she brought me a baby rabbit. didn't hurt it. just set it down for me to see in the house. poor thing was so frightened. i wrapped it in a towel and took it back outside where it promptly hopped off.
