lol Google also gave the endor voice recording job to Appen, now theyre sending me multiple emails to do it... but the pay on appen is like 6 dollars an hour. I've been ignoring the emails, but now I feel like telling them I got paid a shit load more to do it on mturk ha ha

yea.. but there is a difference which greatly speeds them up on Appen, there is zero load times so you can essentially make more money doing them on there then here.

Read the TO for these guys. They have a history of shady stuff. They owe several people $10 bonuses from months ago and never paid up and never replied to email.

mine had a super long load time which is why i never did them in the first place. but if theyve sped it up thats good to know

It's basically holding the yarn in your left hand vs. your right hand. And in continental you never let go. Which is why it was easier for me to figure out tension etc.

So that's what I've learned how to do... I thought it was some weird style if you wanted to constantly let go of the yarn and wrap.. Interesting.

yep... I can do about 1000 in an hour on there and on here MAYBE 500 if i am flying. I am sure it is YMMV though

I had a lot of technical issues with the appen platform that I didn't have on mturk. I honestly had no problem with load times on mturk.

The appen email I got said 18 AUD (14.00 usd) for 1000 individual voice records.

here is $25.00 for 500.

I don't know if everyone who did the appen ones got paid that amount, but its a huge drop for me.
