Drove right past this to get my kid. They didn't divert traffic. This is a block from my kid's school. All those officers behind doors had out big 'ole weapons, and as I got closer I saw suspects with hands up. I'm hoping these are the people who shot the ice cream man. Then 1/2 block past this I drove past the ice cream truck with crime scene tape all around it.

Got my kid, though. While I knew he would be kept safe my heart is no longer in my throat.
