In your situation I would pay the 30 bucks. I don't know how you feel about ATT, but dealing with Comcast is being in a special kind of hell.

Question, does anyone have any advice on the internet thing?

Should I just pay the extra 30 bucks and call it a day? I was thinking to looking at comcast but I doubt it's any cheaper and they're supposedly getting ready to impose caps also.

We are a cord cutter family, everything we do is online, from my work, to gaming, to hulu, netflix, youtube, and kodi....I'm pretty sure I will go way over the cap without even trying. Not even counting the free games that get downloaded from xbox live and ps plus every month.

I got Comcast when I first moved here, and they started capping 6 months later. I was going over in like a week and getting charged triple...ended up changing to business class, no caps.

Comcast is terrible tho. The local place has blocked incoming calls so nobody can even contact them. +_+
