google voice stops working for me after about 5-10 phone calls. it doesn't start working again for a few hours. I use my ipad but those apps don't work well.

That is odd. Try running it in incognito to see if that fixes it?

my laptop doesn't have a microphone, I don't think. neither does my work computer. and most of the time there's another person or people in my office. this summer in about a month it'll be just me, but most of the day i share a huge office space.

Ahh yeah, If you are at work they're probably not good hits to do. But I don't think I've seen a laptop without a microphone for more than a decade. They have a 4 hr aa timer so it might be worth it to grab some and sit on them for later. I can almost say with certainty that your computer has a microphone

if you have an android you can use hangout on your phone. that's the way i do it. doesn't help with your office situation though.

Can't help you with the office issue, but if you have a wifi phone you can download the hangouts app and make calls over wifi with a google voice number.

depends on if you can get the $50k debt on an income based repayment plan. probably the kid though. i'm almost facing the same thing - go to law school or start having kids

Well, with a child you will probably end up with at least some of the college loan debt eventually too. (x3 in my case...)

But, overall, in food and clothes and trips and all the stuff they need, they probably cost about $2k a month for all 3.
