I have, and I enjoyed it, but probably less so than most because it felt very much like a mashup of two books I liked a whole lot more (PKD's The Penultimate Truth and Jasper Fforde's Shades of Grey).

I was reminded of Hunger Games (class/bottom rung of society/fighting the way up/etc and Enders Game. Enders game by the way they kept adding the pressure on him and because they were all kids (much older than ender) playing at adult rules.
