Hey, random question. Did you get your hair dyed at a salon or did you do it yourself? I want colorful hair.

It's done professionally. I'm lucky, in that I have a friend who is a licensed cosmetologist and has a home studio, so I don't pay a ton for it, but it's not something I would do myself.

Yes, I've seen a lot of people make mistakes but when I asked my stylist about it, she quoted me an insane price. I trust her so I don't think she was trying to rip me off.

If I walked into a salon and had this done, I would expect to pay close to $200 where I live. My friend cuts it, bleaches the roots, and does the color for $45 (plus I tip her a lot).

Anybody else do these Glom hits? They sure are confusing, hope I'm doing them right.

Some of them can be tricky...where does the glom start and the vessel begin? I emailed him and he was pretty cool. Here is what he had to say "It is sometimes really hard to see where a glomerulus starts and which part really belong to it, especially because the images are quite different. In most cases it's fine if you keep the shape as round as possible. Don't worry too much about getting it perfectly right. You would have to do really badly to get a HIT rejected."

I think they blocked or rejected a while back too. It's a lot of work for $2.
