Can't argue with you. Smoking sucks.
I just quit one month and 4 days ago. I used an ecig to help me through it...first week wasn't so bad, second week I puffed that ecig a couple times a day, third week I thought I was an idiot for quitting smoking, fourth week some days were bad, most were good, going in to 5th week still have a craving about once or twice a day but that's it. I tried the patch and cold turkey in the past, those did not work...the disposable ecig from Blu (only bought one and it still has a lot left to go), has made a huge difference.

To those who say you can only quit by going cold turkey, I say "one size doesn't fit all, stop discouraging people", to those who say "Oh, good job, that's great", most of us at this stage really don't want to hear it, and for any ex smoker who is now an ahole jackarse about smokers - sthu.

Anyway, if you ever do want to quit, I'd recommend trying the ecig...maybe it will help. Nothing will help, however, until you find a reason that you actually want to quit. I didn't want to quit smoking, I just wanted to quit spending the money on them.

I actually did go out and buy one with the replaceable liquid. It broke on me in 2 weeks and went back to smoking again. I'm gonna try it again in the fall. I know I'll fail in the summer because of all the drinking.

I went from a little over a pack a day to nothing using a vape pen. A high quality one, not some crap like Blu that you buy in a gas station. The day I bought the vaporizer was the last day I ever had a cigarette; it was an immediate "quit" for me. I still vape, but I've cut the nicotine down to almost nothing, having started with a high nicotine content.. I can feel a huge difference in my body. HUGE.

ecigs/vape is a case where a larger investment makes a huge difference. Lower quality vapes are so shit half the time that it ends up being a huge hassle.

There's days I wanted to get up and go to the store to get a pack. "Hell with everyone. Who cares what they think about smoking! I LIKE it! F them all!" But then I'd make myself take a single puff on that Blu disposable e-cig (only cost $10), and I'd be fine again.

The most I've ever puffed on it in a single day is 4 times...so that's 4 single hits. Some people look down on ecigs, too, but I say: You know what? I've taken about 25 -30 puffs, in total, single puffs, off the ecig as compared to the 465-500 cigarettes I would have had otherwise....I think the ecig isn't such a bad thing after all. I won't use it forever, it's just to get me through this.

I smoke because I like to. I need to quit 1. they cost too much. 2. they are not healthy. I smoke more then 2 packs a day. Sitting on the computer does not help that matter. I've tried cold turkey and patches. I have even tried the e-cigs. Nothing is helping. I find myself craving them more and more when I use the ecig. I guess its the feel of the smoke going down my throat that I miss. I can't get that from the e-cigs. So I still smoke and still pay the shitty prices on them.
