but how do I get like, Amazon's tax id and all that to fill out the paper work? or am I way off base

If it asks for anything but the amount earned you (or whoever) are filling out the wrong form.

You are self-employed, you have to file with the Schedule C forms.
Most tax places will not let you do this for free.

Don't need it, it just gets filed under other income.
