Well guys, I just got a call from the vet. The $400 I spent yesterday essentially did nothing for kitty. Blood work came back fine. The vet is pushing for dental work which is upwards of $700. If I had known specifically it was the dental work, perhaps that $400 could have instead gone toward the dental work. But now we're stuck waiting until I get financial aid or something because I can't afford a deficit of $1,100 this month.

Ugh, I'm sorry. Vet bills are awful. We've spent so much money this year on blood work and medication and it doesn't seem to be making any difference. I like our vet, but a lot of times I think they're just throwing darts at a board.

Ughh I feel you. We really feel like they were throwing darts at a board. The vet recommended antibiotics, blood work, and fluids. But they also mentioned x-rays and dental work, too. The vet tried to talk me into payment plans over the phone for the dental work but I feel so sick to my stomach.
