I did not know about Prolific surveys. Just registered on their website and completed a lot of prescreening questions. Also did that survey.

i have been seeing people post alerts about prolific. I don't understand what's the deal. the incentives mention being in £ instead of $.

Prolific is my sideline to the Turk. It's like this, they pay out in pounds and then you transfer it to Paypal and Paypal does the currency conversion. I transferred 20 pounds last week and it came out to $28.80. I pound sterling is worth like $1.44 last I checked.

They charge a fee if you cash out before $20 pounds. (I think it's 20). I wait for $20 pounds then cash out and I don't get charged a fee.

Yeah, Paypal charges for less than 20 pounds and they round down on the currency conversions but I still see it as doing 20 whatever worth of work and getting $28 for it. xD
