yep, that's the biggest reasons people fail in budgeting, unforeseen costs that are actually foreseen. I know without a doubt my water heater is going to fail within the next 5 years, so I have to budget for the cost of a replacement..or tires on a car...vet bills...etc.

Thank you for that advice! We are def going to get her signed up. Last year and this year we have had to spend a lot on medical expenses (though this time around they said she is very healthy) so I am thinking it's just time to get her on it.

yep, that's the biggest reasons people fail in budgeting, unforeseen costs that are actually foreseen. I know without a doubt my water heater is going to fail within the next 5 years, so I have to budget for the cost of a replacement..or tires on a car...vet bills...etc.

That is something my mom has instilled in me, though our household kinda falls flat in the budget area. When we move things financially will be much better and allow us to save more than we currently can. That is really smart advice though. I'll have to keep that in mind for future budgeting.
