My parents told me that between me and my brother, we'd go through 2 gallons of milk and 3 boxes of cereal each day. And that's just for breakfast. Idk how they never filed for bankruptcy.
Bulk, you buy everything in bulk. We had 5 kids, 4 girls and a boy, costco and sams club saved us a fortune, plus ethnic stores. buy a side of beef from a farmer, a pig, etc. I'd come home from adeployment and spend a lot of time butchering and hunting

Agreed!!! Hunting saved us a lot of winters.

In Germany, and it sounds like no one was killed other than the shooter ...

... but yes, I am right there with you.
It's looking real sketchy right now because they don't even know if the suspect had a "real" gun or some type of air gun, and it seems that most of the injuries were due to tear gas, thankfully. Could've gone a lot worse.

It is also about price comparisons. I find that Costco is actually more expensive for meat/ pound then if I price match a sale price at Walmart. I also use a lot of coupons.

And I cloth diaper my baby, which saves a lot on diapers. And I breastfeed, much cheaper than formula.

Yep. I'm not going that road here, though, because it will take me into political discussion. Which is verboten.

A small rant:
Police response time for the avg united states is around 2 to 3 mins, a person with a semi auto pistol or rifle with extra magazines, can kill hundreds in a tight area, before the police can even respond. and don't get me started on gun free zones, that just lets the criminals win.
rant over.
