i've yet to be at one of those establishments in my life so far. i don't think i would like throwing dollar bills at them. they probably have little kids at home. wondering what their mommy is doing. and i'd be there throwing dollar bills at them like a piece of meat

Ok, as a former dancer I have to put my two cents in... It's just a job for a lot of people, and there's a lot of people who don't have kids. Yeah, there's a lot of sleezeballs, but there's also customers that are really sweet and sometimes just want some company. You're only throwing dollar bills at people like they're pieces of meat if you treat them like that, otherwise tipping is normally an indication of interest or 'hey, I see you working up there, good job!'. If you're respectful when you tip, that's greatly appreciated.

And hey, if the club's not your bag, that's ok too.
