I'm doing chores and poking at hits today and realizing I am going to have to take a nap soon! Or drive to the store and buy a Pepsi.

I did not sleep well last night because at some point that I don't remember my child ended up in bed with me. When I asked him this morning what time he came to my bed he shrugged and said, "Late."

Then I said, "Vampires?" and he said, "Yep."

That's what I get for showing him Lost Boys last night. He loved the movie, but of course, it made sleeping alone in his bed all night not an option.

I seriously hate it when a surveyor threatens you within the survey. If you really have had bad turnouts in the past, there is something wrong with your method - be it pay, or general interest of the survey, or the difficulty in filling it out. there is NO reason to threaten your survey takers.

My weird question for the day: I need something portable mainly for turking, can't afford anything windows based except the type of tablet I'm returning now which lasted me one day. And even with scripts on dolphin etc, still don't want an Android , BC still too limited. ....had a thought I wonder if an iPad can run some windows stuff? I know a Mac can....looked it up....seems it can, maybe VMware, haven't looked at details, has anyone tried something like this?

A laptop can be cheaper than a iPad

I bought an Acer laptop for law school for like $400 many years ago and that thing lasted forever.

This laptop I'm using is pretty damn good, and was like $298 (I think...I didn't pay for it...)... look on Amazon, they have some pretty sweet deals.

True, I was thinking mini iPad which may be too small, was thinking because the laptop I have now that I have been really been pretty rough with is finally about shot....anyway it was also a pretty good one and I wanted to wait until I could afford a decent laptop to get one and really wanted a tablet now. But one that will work like an expensive laptop so I'm being a little unrealistic I suppose.
