@Kadauchi is there any reason my TM alerts pop up but don't have the $price on the HF screen? like, they pop up in the bottom right corner as usual and have the title and requester name but not the HIT amount. i can screenshot if this makes zero sense.

Has anyone on here successfully got access to a closed qual by messaging the requester?

I have gotten 3 good closed quals that I can think off the top of my head by sending a message to the requester through mturk http://www.mturkcrowd.com/threads/how-to-contact-requesters-on-mechanical-turk.95/

My vision clouded over in one eye for a couple minutes. I'm extremely nearsighted so I'm at risk of retina issues so I got into a new doctor real fast. They said I have a floater, not of the turd persuasion. And that it normally happens in older people. They can be a sign of the retina tearing or detaching, but thankfully, mine is okay, so far. It hasn't happened again, but it could take months for it to go away completely. And if the cloud in my vision comes back too frequently, I have to go run to the doctor. But, I'm pretty much terrified of it happening even once again.
TLDR: my eyes suck.

maybe gunnars would help. hopefully it was just a one time thing.
