Not Turk related, I hope that's okay.
We had to put our dog to sleep last Thursday because she had a very enlarged heart (the vet said "I've never seen a heart that large in a dog her size") and she was on medicine but had a very poor prognosis. After she passed out 3 times in 2 days, it was obvious that she needed to be put to sleep.
Delilah was such a chill dog, she barked like 4 times a year, all she wanted was to be loved on.
I told my 8 year old we weren't getting another dog unless we found one like Delilah. End of story, right? I don't care if a dog barks are not, this was a way to get out of getting another dog right now.
Then last night, the wife of the preacher of the contemporary service at our church posted a link to an adorable puppy at an animal shelter that is the cutest and she doesn't bark!
Like I said, I don't care if a dog barks or not, I was hoping that the "quiet dog" thing would buy me a lot of time and we could readdress getting a new dog later on.
This seems like it's meant to be, though, that this puppy needs to be part of our family. Cross your fingers that if this is meant to be, it'll work out! There are several ppl on Facebook that are interested in her. Hopefully I'll be posting pics of this sweet girl tomorrow!!!
