I don't know what your tastes are, but if you like things that are a little bit absurd and sort of like a comic book, please read the Sandman Slim series. I would love to talk about those books with someone. Oryx and Crake is awesome too, a bit more serious, but I love them as well. The John Levitt novels are total entertainment. He does some graphic novels as well. Kind of like reading a few episodes of 'Walking Dead' if you enjoy that.
