My servicer is not much better but a forbearance is just a hiccup, not the end of the world. Just pay attention to the dates set on the forebearance and your next payment date. And perhaps consider IBR if you haven't already. I legit cried when I found out my loans could be switched over to IBR.

Just remember with IBR that if it isn't paid off in the time frame for your plan (usually between 20 and 30 years and the balance can actually increase because of intrest) and is written off that you will owe taxes on whatever amount they write off as if it were income. Haveing the IRS after you for money sucks too.
