It's all part of my theory that Mturk is really just a decade long experiment. They are now dividing non masters into two separate groups..Non Captchas and Captchas. It's the Stanford Prison Experiment all over again.

It is an experiment though. Its an experiment to see if crowdsourcing has a market. If amazon ever decides that its not a profitable business venture, they will just shut down mturk for good.
